ART. 1 – Location and duration of the exhibition

The exhibition will take place in the "Galleria Due Punti" in Varese, via Giulio Bizzozero n.7.
The selected works will be exhibited from 23 September to 1 October 2023.

ART.2 – Theme and organization – guest artist competition

Artistaonline.it on the occasion of the 170th anniversary of the birth of Van Gogh (1853-1890) pays homage to him by particularly enhancing his characteristic yellow color which illuminates many of his works.

It is also considered more than necessary to dedicate this event to the very recent untimely death of the actor Antonio Zanoletti, his great interpreter (1949-2023) who dedicated his entire life to the theatre.

The title of the exhibition is

“YELLOW vangogh”

The curator of the exhibition is the artist Manuela Codazzi .
The exhibition will be sponsored by Organizations and Institutions and recognized by any other Associations or Institutes.

Guest Artist Competition
The organizer promotes the "Guest Artist" competition which will see the work most voted by visitors awarded during the duration of the exhibition.
The judgment will be expressed by the public present who will give their preference through the use of the QR-code present in the Gallery. The voting system will not allow for more than one vote each.
On the evening of 17 September at 18:30 in the presence of the artists, the results of the vote will be communicated.
The performer of the most voted work will be "Guest Artist", free of charge, at the next exhibition organized by us.

ART. 3 – Techniques

Participation is open to all Artists, without limits of age, gender, nationality or other qualification. Each artist can participate by presenting an unpublished or unpublished work of maximum size cm.30x30 inspired by the theme referred to in this announcement.
The techniques admitted to the competition and the relative maximum dimensions to be respected are indicated below:

Painting
works related to the theme created in full stylistic and technical freedom (oil, tempera, acrylic, ink, watercolor, graphite, pencil, collage, etchings, engravings, various types of printing, etc.) and on any support (canvas, paper, wood , plastic, iron, etc.).
The maximum measurements allowed are 30x30 cm (including the frame).
The works must be supplied complete with hangers and support (possible passe-partout, frame, etc…) in case the work itself does not have enough consistency to be affixed.
Works that do not meet the requirements may be excluded from the exhibition.

Sculpture
works related to the theme created in any organic or inorganic material.
The maximum measurements allowed are: base cm. 30x30, maximum height cm. 30. The exhibition space does not include dark spaces.
Works that do not meet the requirements may be excluded from the exhibition.

Photographic art
color photographs related to the theme printed on paper or other material. The maximum measurements allowed are cm.30x30.
The photos must be supplied complete with hangers and support for their posting. Works that do not meet the requirements may be excluded from the exhibition.

ART. 4 – How to register

To participate in the collective exhibition it is necessary to submit a prior request by sending an e-mail to segreteria@artistaonline.it together with a photograph of the work to be exhibited (see art.5) so that it can be subjected to the appropriate assessments of compliance with the show.
Subsequently, acceptance or rejection of the proposed work will be communicated by e-mail. In the case of acceptance, the immediate completion of the membership must follow (subscription of the membership form and payment of the fee).

The presence of the artist on the portal www.artistaonline.it is recommended as it offers the following advantages and the guarantee for a good promotion of both the artist and the event:

• Publication of the artist's personal profile
• Direct contact with the artist by any interested parties, without any intermediation
• Publication in the appropriate sections of the events and initiatives in which it participates
• Publish articles on “art blogs”
• Sharing of his publications directly on social networks

REGISTRATION FEE FOR THE EVENT

€40.00 for artists PRESENT on the artistonline portal
€50.00 for artists NOT present on the artistonline portal

It is possible to register for the exhibition and contextual publication on the portal www.artistaonline.it for a fee of € 100.00 (€ 40.00 + € 60.00)

The fee allows you to enter 1 work. It is also possible to participate in multiple sections.
It is possible to participate with multiple works. For each additional work in the same section the supplement is €30.00

Payment of the registration fee for the event can be made in the following ways

We do not accept bank transfer charges, under penalty of cancellation of the registration.

Those who have not yet been uploaded to the www.artistaonline.it portal can consult quotas and conditions via the following link https://artistaonline.it/piano-basic and proceed to the completion of the registration which guarantees the creation of one's own personal page.

ART. 5 – Selection method

To participate in the selections, each artist must send no later than 1 September 2023
o photo in jpg of the work that he intends to present at the exhibition
either a short biography or a short critical text
or a written summary containing the meaning he wanted to attribute to his own work, title, technique, year and dimensions.

Everything will be sent to the following address::

The setting up and organization of the exhibition will be the sole responsibility of the organizer without any interference from the exhibitors.
Transport costs and any insurance for the works will be the responsibility of the individual artists.

ART. 6 – Methods of delivery and collection of works

The works must be sent to the "Galleria Due Punti" in via Bizzozero n. 7 from 12 to 14 September 2023 from 15.00 to 18.30 by personal delivery or by courier on the same days and times.
The artist will have to take care of the collection of the work at the end of the exhibition or within the following day (opening hours 16-18)
The works not collected within the aforementioned terms will remain the property of Artistaonline who will consider putting them up for sale to raise funds for humanitarian projects currently underway by the ARTandCHARITY ODV Association.
All shipping costs (round trip) are the responsibility of the artist.
It is the artist's faculty to express at the time of registration the will to donate the work for the aforementioned purposes.

ART. 7 – Responsibility

The organizer, while ensuring the utmost care and custody of the works received, declines all responsibility for any theft, fire or damage of any nature, to the works or to people, which may occur during all phases of the event.
Any request for insurance must be signed by the artist himself.

ART. 8 – Consent

Each artist owns the rights of the images and the candidate works but assigns to the organizer without any compensation, the rights of reproduction, exhibition, publication, translation and communication to the public, in any way and none excluded, for their own works and for the texts selection participants. Each artist agrees to the free publication of images and texts on the portals ofartistaonline.it
Artistaonline, in full compliance with the moral rights of the author, will exercise these rights for all institutional communication activities relating to the exhibition and the portal.
Each candidate expressly authorizes the organizer as well as their direct delegates, to process the personal data transmitted in accordance with the privacy law and the European Regulation (GDPR 2016/679), also for the purpose of inclusion in databases managed by the aforementioned persons and by third parties pursuing the same purposes.
