ART. 1 – Location, duration and opening hours of the exhibition

The exhibition will take place in the "Galleria Due Punti" in Varese, via Giulio Bizzozero n.7. The selected works will be exhibited from Friday 2 to Sunday 11 June 2023. The opening to the public, organized by the organizer, is as follows: weekdays from 14.30 to 19.00 - Saturdays and holidays 10.00-12.00: 30 - 14.30/19.00

Artistaonline, brand of "Ideaventuno", in collaboration with the Galleria Due Punti, organizes the collective contemporary art exhibition on the theme

“My Avatar”
awareness, consciousness and creation

The exhibition is aimed at presenting works whose realization has resulted solely from the profound analysis of the concepts object of the theme itself and better explained in the text in the introduction before the announcement.

A specific meeting will be organized in which the themes of the collective will be widely illustrated and developed.

The exhibition will be sponsored by Organizations and Institutions and recognized by any other Associations or Institutes.

The organizer establishes the "Guest Artist" competition which will see the most voted artist/work awarded during the duration of the exhibition.
The judgment will be expressed by visitors to the exhibition who will give their assessment by filling in a special form which will then be inserted by them in the appropriate closed container.
On the evening of 11 June at 6.45 pm, in the presence of the artists, the ballots will be counted.
The most voted artist/work will be "Guest Artist", free of charge, at the next exhibition organized by us.

ART. 3 – Techniques

Participation is open to all Artists, without limits of age, gender, nationality or other qualification. Each artist can participate by presenting an unpublished or unpublished work of size cm.40x40 inspired by the theme referred to in this announcement.

The techniques admitted to the competition and the maximum dimensions to be respected are as follows:

- Painting

works created in full stylistic and technical freedom (oil, tempera, acrylic, ink, watercolour, graphite, pencil, collage, etchings, engravings, various types of printing, etc.) and on any support (canvas, paper, wood, plastic, iron, etc.).

The maximum measurements allowed are 40x40 cm (including the frame).

The works must necessarily be supplied complete with hangers and support (any passe-partout, frame, etc...) in the event that the work itself does not have enough consistency to be posted.

- Sculpture
works created in any organic or inorganic material.

The maximum measurements allowed are: base cm. 40x40 , maximum height cm. 40 .

The exhibition space does not include dark spaces.

- Ceramic

The maximum permitted measurements of the created or decorated works are: base cm. 40x40, maximum height cm. 40 .

The exhibition space does not include dark spaces.

- Photography
photographs printed on paper, in color or in black and white. The maximum measurements allowed are 40x40 cm .

The photos must be supplied complete with hangers and support for their posting.

ATTENTION: Works that do not comply with the announcement will be excluded.

ART. 4 - Registration methods and conditions

To participate in the collective exhibition, it is necessary to submit a request by sending an e-mail to segreteria@artistaonline.it together with a photograph in which you can take a broad view in advance in a defined way of the work you intend to exhibit.

An assessment of whether or not the work will be accepted or not will be promptly made, followed by a communication via e-mail to the submitting artist who must immediately formalize the registration by filling in and signing the appropriate form and at the same time paying the fee. registration.

In order to guarantee a good promotion of both the exhibiting artist and the event , it is necessary that the artist himself is present with his profile on the portal www.artistaonline.it as it offers the following advantages:

Publication of the artist's personal profile which can also be consulted by visitors to the exhibition;
Direct contact with the artist by any interested parties will take place via the portal without any intermediation;
The artist will be able to publish the events and initiatives in which he participates in the appropriate sections;
The possibility of publishing articles on “ ArtBlog ” is offered;
Sharing of his publications directly on social networks.

SUBSCRIPTION FEE

The registration fee for artists already published on the portal is €40.00
The registration fee for artists not published on the portal is € 100.00 (€ 40.00 for participation in the exhibition plus € 60.00 for publication on the portal as an annual subscription with automatic renewal)

- the fee allows you to enter 1 work. It is possible to participate even in several sections.
- it is possible to participate with more works. Each additional work has a supplement of € 30.00

ART. 5 – Selection method

To participate in the selections, each artist must send jpg photos of the work they intend to present at the exhibition, together with a short biography or a short critical text , no later than 20.05.2023 . It is also mandatory to produce a written summary containing the meaning that he wanted to attribute to his work.

The preparation and organization of the exhibition will be the sole responsibility of the organizer.

Transport costs and any insurance for the works will be the responsibility of the individual artists.

ART. 6 – Methods of delivery and collection of works

The works must be sent to the "Galleria Due Punti" in via Bizzozero n. 7 on Tuesday 30 and Wednesday 31 May from 2.30 to 7.00 pm by personal delivery or by courier or delegated person.
The artist will have to take care of collecting the work in the evening after the exhibition closes or on Tuesday 13 June from 2.30pm to 6.30pm.

The works not collected within the terms will remain the property of ArtistaOnLine.

All shipping costs (round trip) are the responsibility of the artist.

ART. 7 – Responsibility

The organizer, while ensuring the utmost care and custody of the works received, declines all responsibility for any theft, fire or damage of any nature, to the works or to people, which may occur during all phases of the event.

Any request for insurance must be signed by the artist himself.

ART. 8 – Consent

Each artist owns the rights of the images and the candidate works but assigns to the organizer without any compensation, the rights of reproduction, exhibition, publication, translation and communication to the public, in any way and none excluded, for their own works and for the texts selection participants. Each artist agrees to the free publication of images and texts on the portalsartistaonline.it and duepunti.it.

Artistaonline and “Galleria Due Punti” will exercise these rights in full compliance with the moral copyright law for all institutional communication activities relating to the exhibition and the portal.

Each candidate expressly authorizes the organizer as well as their direct delegates, to process the personal data transmitted in accordance with the privacy law and the European Regulation (GDPR 2016/679), also for the purpose of inclusion in databases managed by the aforementioned persons and by third parties pursuing the same purposes.
