Insubria Chamber Orchestra

The Insubria Chamber Orchestra, a representative denomination of that transregional and transnational territory between the great lakes of north-western Italy, was born from the idea of creating a group of young instrumentalists, led by first parties who have already worked in prestigious Italian orchestras , with whom to be able to collaborate on a permanent basis in order to achieve that tonal and executive compactness, reachable only with operational continuity and the shared vision of research, useful for obtaining valuable performances within the ambit of a vast symphonic-chamber repertoire.

This peculiar genesis guarantees the team an uncommon cohesion and a particular executive style enhanced by the use of philologically reliable and, where possible, even historical editions, as well as by the constant presence of the musical director himself, Giorgio Rodolfo Marini , who personally follows all artistic production projects.

For some years now, the Orchestra has been a guest of the "Perosi Festival" in Tortona and of the " Reviviscenze Musicali " review with which on May 30, 2020 it was the protagonist of the first Concert in Italy by an Orchestra in attendance after the lockdown broadcast in live streaming with remarkable success of views; has collaborated with internationally renowned soloists of the caliber of Carlo Levi Minzi , Bruno Canino and Marco Chingari, and works with the support of the "Fondazione JUPITER" which promotes musical and artistic events in Italy and abroad with specific attention to the Lombardy Region of which has recently obtained official recognition .
